BC Driver’s Licence and Services Card

My old driver’s licence is broken, because of too many cards in my wallet.

So, I went to ICBC office, and tried to get a replacement. The staff told me if I want, I can replace it with my MSP card and get a new card, which is combin two cards in one. Of couse, I accept this offer, since the fee is same. It is $17.

I took the photo, and got a piece of paper, or temporar driver licence. The new card was mailed in two weeks.

All existing BC MSP health care card will be replaced by BC Services Card by 2018 at a driver licensing office. You can do it early, when you renew or replace your current driver licence.

How it looks like:

You can also wait for the letter of renew from ICBC.

What if I don’t apply?

CareCards and Gold CareCards can continue to be used to access health services until 2018. After 2018, failure to renew enrolment in MSP may result in cancellation of MSP coverage. This means you might have to pay for medical services like a visit to your doctor. In emergency situations, no one will be denied essential medical services.

Important Notice from KFI about Butter Chicken Sauce

I received a letter from KFI, Kataria Foods International.

Costco Wholesale records indicate you may have purchased KFI Butter Chicken Sauce produced by Kataria Foods Inc., between January 2 and June 11, 2015.

It recently came to our attention that the net volume of the product as shown on the label does not accurately reflect the declared volume of product in the jar. The over-declared volume amounted to an overcharge of $0.68 on this product. We are very sorry for this error.

We have taken this issue very seriously and have worked with Costco to correct the problem.

We have also taken measures to ensure future compliance on declared volumens.

Again, we apologize for this error and, as a gesture of our appreciation, we have included a voucher for a free hot dog and soda pop (value of $1.50), which can be redeemed at the food court at your local Costco warehouse. If you prefer, you may return the product to a Costco warehouse for a full refund.

This is the letter form KFI.

Replace the Battery of Anne Klein watch

It is an old watch for woman. My wife received it as a gift from her cousin about twenty years ago.

I found it from the old stuff in  Shanghai. It does not work because of battery.

When I home, I open it by the special tool, which I will mentioned later. Took the battery out and located the size or model number is 364.

Now it is simple, go to Ebay.ca and bought a pack of this battery.
