Update the RAM of my PC

It is a small update. My wife’s old desktop was retired. It has two RAM stickers, 2X8GB.

My PC has 2X16GB + 8GB + 4GB. It is kind of unbalanced. Now I have the chance to make it right.

These are 8GB and 4GB RAM DDR4. I took it down from my PC.

The RAM I moved from my wife’s old PC.
Corsair CMK16GX4M2Z2400C16 Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4-19200) C16 1.2V

Now, my PC looks like as below:

Now my PC has 48GB of memory.

Nice upgrade. Since your current RAM setup is now 2x16GB plus 2x8GB sticks, all DDR4 but possibly with different speeds and timings, have you noticed any impact on dual-channel performance or system stability?

  MAt last, I changed it back. The system is crushed randomly. Maybe once a day, but I don’t known when it will be happen.
