  1. I changed from Shaw digital to the Entertainment 1 package with Personal TV and High Speed Internet plus up to 14 HD channels, for a total of $95.09/Month. I was told that it would take a week to have a serviceman come and change the filter in the cable box on the street. On the 6th of May around 7:30 pm our cable box was setup and we were set to go. To our horror, we find that the digital channels we had prior to this change are now blocked! I’ve lost Channels 29, 59, 60, 61, 62, 65, 67, 68 & 118. I gained access to six more channels for the sum total of $5.00 over my normal monthly charge, but in essence I’ve lost 3 channels and get to pay $5.00 a month for that loss. There was no mention of losing what we already had when I attended Shaw’s office. It was by design and this “Personalize Now” is a giant rip off!!!

  2. I have the same thing with Telus with 8 calls, two days of missing work ending up with no technician show ups and another week’s waiting just for switching my phone… they all bad!

  3. I have had the absolute worst experience with Shaw over the past two weeks! It all started when I called them as TELUS had a much better bundle package avaiilable. Shaw happily reduced their pricing to keep me with them and gave me a new and apparantly “great” HDPVR. Since then, I have called them ten times, spent over nine hours on hold, have missed half a day of work for a technician who never showed and have had a manager promise to call me back with no call!!
    I hope Shaw doesn’t give you the big F-U like they gave me!
