I am shopping around for an netbook or light notebook. The main job is to read ebook, internet browse, blog writing.
The very interesting thing is I found some netbook has an option of drive, 8G SSD drive or 160G HDD drive, with almost same price.
What is SSD drive?
Based on Wikipedia article,

A solid-state drive (SSD) is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store persistent data. A SSD emulates a hard disk drive interface, thus easily replacing it in most applications. An SSD using SRAM or DRAM (instead of flash memory) is often called a RAM-drive.

I think SSD has no mechanical parts. So it should be very fast.
There are some Youtube clips support my point of view.

So, you know what’s going on for your next notebook.
