Kobo Elipsa 2E – a Big Screen eReader

I bought a Kobo Elipsa 2E last week, April 15. After three days, the Amazon delivery guy handed over the box to me.

Kobo Elipsa 2E

I bought it on Amazon.ca. $499.99 plus tax, the total is $559.99.

Features of the Kobo Elipsa 2E

I have Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Touch, and Kobo, Kobo mini, Kindle 3, etc. The earliest one was 2010. The biggest is 6 inches. It is not big enough for a PDF file.  I like reading books.

I opened the box and took out the eReader pad. See inside.

Inside the box of Kobo Elipsa 2E

There is one Reader, a Pen, a USB Type-C  data cable, a “Quick Start Guide”, and two Tips.

OK, I charged the device and do the first boot.

Activate the Kobo Stylus 2 pen
Try the pen. It needs charging too.

The Stylus 2 pen is so good to use.

Kobo plus membership

Kobo provides a membership called Kobo plus. I don’t need it, so just ignore it.

Then I started to use it. The most important thing for eReader is to use it. Not like someone else to use it as a cover when preparing their instant noodles.

I compare my Kindle Paperwhite with the Kobo Elipsa 2E side by side. I like the size of the Kobo device. I can have my book with larger fonts.  Good for my aging vision.

I need more time using it.
