Maybe the last OS on Acer ZG5

My Acer Aspire One A110 is more than 12 years old. I still use it occasionally. My main rig is a desktop PC. The only laptop is this Acer netbook, ZG5.
It came with Windows XP Home. Working perfectly after I changed SSD.

Anyway, I replaced the original Windows OS with Linux for a long time. I tried different distributions. Now I am using SparkyLinux.

The Acer Zg5 does not support 64bit.

The version I installed last week is Sparky 5.12 Xfce 32bit

Go to the Download page to download the ISO file. It is about 1.23GB. Choose the edition carefully.

After downloading, I created a live USB disk to install it.

Here is the guide to show you how to Create Live USB disk. It recommand four tools. The tool I used is Win32 Disk Imager.

Installation is simple and fast.

Now if I need a tempory use at a place I don’t have a PC, I will use this netbook. Most of time I need it to diagnose the Router and Modem, etc. It needs a wired connection and not-remotely.
