Google just inform us that it can provide the Google Apps for Domain.
You only need to get these free services.
It provide Email, Chat, Calendar,Domain web pages .
To setup Email, you need to change your DNS setting to use Google’s service. Such as MX records. I entered one of my Domain name, FreeinOutBoard.com. It is automaticly recognized by Google that this domain use 1and1 service.
Before use all other three services, you need to confirm the ownership of your domain by uploading a HTML file.
My feeling is Google will be a webhosting company with a lot of free services.
So just register a domain name at 1and1 or other big company. All other services can be handled by Google. Just register to use it.
