你有了一个网站。运行了一段时间后，总想看看来访的是谁，从哪里来的，访问最多的文件是哪些，有没有错误，等等。
这时，就轮到网站统计软件出场了，原先我用的是Webtrands的Log Analyzer v7.0b。
现在我用的是一个open source的软件，如题是Advanced Web Statistics 6.4 (build 1.814)，最新的稳定版本。
AWStats is a free powerful and featureful tool that generates advanced web, streaming, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. This log analyzer works as a CGI or from command line and shows you all possible information your log contains, in few graphical web pages. It uses a partial information file to be able to process large log files, often and quickly. It can analyze log files from all major server tools like Apache log files (NCSA combined/XLF/ELF log format or common/CLF log format), WebStar, IIS (W3C log format) and a lot of other web, proxy, wap, streaming servers, mail servers and some ftp servers.
安装和使用是十分方便的，只有几点要注意的：
1）如果要用Geo::IPFREE插件呢，记得有些Geo::IPFREE包是坏的，要用好的数据包来替换。
2）在windows2003的IIS6的log文件的格式，同Awstats的安装说明文件中的说法不同，要注意。

Web Analyzer 7.0没法给你，不方便，你不如用emule找一下，再下载，应该可以找到如下面WebTrends Log Analyzer 7.0c.rar，网上还有8.0版的呢。
