Centos 6 is coming

Because I use Burst.net as my VPS provider. When I re-build the OS yesterday, I saw Centos 6 template, just beside Centos 5.5 and 5.0.

How is that? Centos 6 is Released?
I went to Centos official site. Saw the following announcement.

The CentOS team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of CentOS-6.0 for i386 and x86_64 Architectures.

CentOS-6.0 is based on the upstream release EL 6.0 and includes packages from all variants. All upstream repositories have been combined into one, to make it easier for end users to work with.

There are some important changes to this release compared with the previous versions of CentOS and we highly recommend reading this announcement along with the Release Notes.

There are no CD images being released with CentOS-6, however we have some CD variants in the pipeline.

Since upstream has a 6.1 version already released, we will be using a Continous Release repository for 6.0 to bring all 6.1 and post 6.1 security updates to all 6.0 users, till such time as CentOS-6.1 is released itself.

LiveCDs and LiveDVDs for i386 and x86_64 will be released the next few days. These will bring in the ability to directly install from the live media.

There will also be a minimal install CD, that would bring up a base machine with just enough content to have a usable platform.

In order to bring back the CentOS-4 Server CD style single iso image, an LWS variant of the main distro will be created.

And now: Have fun.

Right now, before I do a completed compatible test on my test machine, I will not put it on my work environment.

Vidoe card driver makes Windows 2008 R2 Blue Screen

Yes, it is true. I have see so many blue screens on a brand new PC server with Windows 2008 Server R2.

The hardware including following items:
Intel i5 2500 CPU
1TB SATA2 Hard Disk
ASUS P8P67 R3 mother board
Corsair DDR3 Memory 4GBX2
ASUS HD5450 512M Video card.
etc.

I installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on it. 64bit OS is my choice.

After few days running, it has blue screen randomly. Sometimes it happened 4 days up. Sometimes it is 10 days up.

It is not predicted.

Blue Screen error code is as blow:
STOP:0x0000000A
or
STOP:0x0000003B

I tried update Intel Chip set driver, update BIOS of mother board. Change SATA cable, chage SATA port.
Still has this kind of error when Blue Screen.

Minor updates of WordPress v3.2 to 3.2.1

Just few days after the release of WordPress 3.2, wordpress 3.2.1 released.
It is said that it fixes a JSON-related server incompatibility problem that affected some users. Fixes for the new dashboard design and the Twenty Eleven theme, based on the popular Duster theme, are also included.

There is no problem for me. I would like to keep my installation of WordPress update as usual.

Big changes of WordPress v3.2

Just noticed that WordPress 3.2 released few days ago.

There are some new features and improvement on UI and others. The most important parts I like are the big changes of it.

1) No more IE6.
Actually, there is no IE 6 on any PCs in house. Even IE 7.
WordPress said IE6 is a insecure browser. I second.

2) Admin UI changes.
The backend is changed. Some one like it, but others may dislike it. For me, I feel it is more clear and YES, I like it.

3) Incremental upgrades method.
When upgrade available, it will not download whole package, but just the incremental package. Save time. Faster.

4)New Theme - TwentyEleven
The image is wider, give more powerful eyeball impact.
