Got a Linksys WRT54G router

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

I have a D-Link WBR1310. After two months usage, I found it is not suitable for my network environment.

The features are so limited. I need a powerful router will tons of advanced settings.

OK. I bought a Linksys WRT54G router last week. It is a discontinued product. I got one from the Office Depot, Vancouver Store.
Just because it is a discontinued product, it is only $40.

It is v8 edition.
CPU 240 MHz, Memory 8 MB, Flash memory 2 MB
Broadcom BCM5354KFBG Chipset with non-replaceable antennas.

I upgrade this device to the latest Linksys official firmware. Then I installed DD-WRT firmware to make it better.
