There are so many click fraud activitis in the Google Adsense players. Google has never disclosured any information about how to identify them. Adn also call it invalid clicks instead of click fraud.
An independent expert,(a professor at NYU, Dr. Alexander Tuzhilin, produced a 47-page report.
He mentioned ten sources of invalid clicks. If you are a newbie of Google Adsense player, it is good for you to understand which are not permited to do.
1. individuals deploying automated clicking programs or software applications (called bots) specifically designed to click on ads 2. an individual employing low-cost workers or incentivizing others to click on the advertising links 3. publishers manually clicking on the ads on their pages 4. publishers manipulating web pages in such a way that user interactions with the web site result in inadvertent clicks 5. publishers subscribing to paid traffic websites that artificially bring extra traffic to the site, including extra clicking on the ads 6. advertisers manually clicking on the ads of their competitors 7. publishers being sabotaged by their competitors or other ill-wishers 8. various types of unintentional clicks, such as doubleclicks or customers getting confused and unintentionally clicking on the ad without a malicious intent. 9. technical problems, system implementation errors and coordination activities between Google.com and its affiliates resulting in double-counting errors 10. multiple accounts of AdSense publishers: some AdSense publishers illegally open “new” accounts under different names and using false identities; all the clicks originated from these illegal accounts are considered invalid.
Some simple steps can help you and your company avoid being the patsy in an online scam.
1 Never run a program unless you trust the source of the program.
2 Secure your computer with antivirus, antispyware, and a personal firewall. Such software can warn you if a program appears to be doing something suspicious.
3 Never give out your passwords. Only your employer and your bank should require your Social Security number.
4 Deploy a network intrusion-prevention system to detect the signs of an attack early.
5 Managers should require all workers who use computers to undergo training in the best computer-security practices.

Google has a wonderful free service, Google Video. It is not so perfect in the World.
I saw a funny video clip yesterday. So I send this link to my Chinese friends. They told me that they can not see it. Error message is "This service is not available in your Country". That means Google Video is not open to every country. It has a list. China is on it.
My friend also told me that sometimesthey can not use Google Search either.
My understanding is Chinese has a limited world, a part of world. Who made it?
I got a bad news related to Chongqing, one of the biggest city in China. The city authority ruled that everyone used the internet must be registered. It looks for car. You need a driver license. Why we need a internet license to use internet.
What's the relationship between the position in search results and when you post crawled?
I trust time is the very important fact affect the position in search results.
If there are two similar pages in the different sites, the early one will get high position.
So the copying may help someone make a content-rich site. I called it a junk site, which has some not fresh news.

In the second week of the every month, Microsoft will release the Update for Windows. Sometimes comes with office update.
If you use the Windows Update link in the IE, you may not get all the updates, but part of them. The updates not included in the WGA will be download and installed in your Windows XP.
But you still want to get all updates, and you searched and searched in the web. Nothing found.
OK, let me show you some way to pass the WGA and get all the UPDATES.
In Control Panel, System properties, under Automatic Updates Tab.
You can choose Automatic(recommended), every day.
Windows automatic update use the different way then Windows update through IE. The later one will ask for the WGA. The first one does not.
This is what I want to tell you how to bypass the WGA to get completed updates.
I met the Http Header error during upgrade to MovableType 3.2. I use my own cgi files to replace the original files and solved this problem.
This time, when I upgrade from MovableType 3.2 to MovableType 3.31, something happen.
The test bed is Windows 2003, IIS web server. I install the MovableType in the mtcgi path, not in the root. So the problem comes again as below.
CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
I am waiting for a whole day. Now the new version of MovableType is released. The version numuber is not 3.3, but 3.31.
I just download it. The size is 2,994 KB. Much more features and changes are added.

Awstats, or Advanced Web Statistics, has the latest stable version, 6.5 (build 1.857). Current version running on my statas site is 6.4 (build 1.814). It is about one year to wait the new version.
Ok, let's show you how to upgrade from 6.4 to 6.5.
It is very simply and directly.
Step 1: Backup all files you have in the wwwroot. Just in case you want it.
Step 2: Download the awstats-6.5.zip file and decompress it.
Step 3 : Copy the files of wwwroot to overwrite the original files.

When I am back home to check the mail box, I got the package of Edubuntu 6.06. Actually I already installed the edubuntu 5.10 and upgraded to 6.06. My daughter, Grace, likes to play some games included. The game can teach her the math, color, clock, and more.
The CD I received is 5 CD package. I will share it with my friends who have children. It is a complete operating system consisting of free and open source software for education.

I received Ubuntu 6.06 and Kubuntu 6.06 shipit packages today. They are all mailed from France. I am in Canada.
I made the order on 2006-05-18.
This time the live version and install version are in one CD.
To use Ubuntu as a Live CD, put the CD in the CD drive and turn on or restart your computer.
To install Ubuntu, run the Live CD and double-click on the "Install" icon.
Note: The default installation will erase all existing software and data from your computer. If it is not what your want, follow the insturction carefully during installation.
There are some Windows versions of some of the programs included in Ubuntu. You can try them by putting the CD in the drive while windows is running.
