How to re-create the shotcut of Show Desktop

Today, I have a problem because I run a strange program. It can not finish and show me error of .NET.
After that, I loss all my shortcuts in quick launch bar, and all shortcuts on desktop. And even my emails in Outlook express and bookmarks in IE.
It is big big proglems.
Here I just want to tell you how to re-create the shortcup of Show Desktop. I searh it by google, and found the Microsoft official solution “How to re-create the Show Desktop icon on the Quick Launch toolbar”. It is last review on September 14, 2006. It means that a lot of people have the same problem.
Let me show you how to re-built it.
1. Click Start , click Run, type notepad, and then click OK.
2. In Notepad, type the following text on individual lines:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
3. On the File menu, click Save As, and then save the file to your desktop as Show Desktop.scf.
Note Notepad might automatically append a .txt extension to the file name. Remove this extension if present. The file name should be Show Desktop.scf.

The last step:
Use the mouse to drag the Show Desktop.scf icon to the Quick Launch toolbar or another location where you want the shortcut to appear.
So the Show Desktop comes back. It is used most often.
If you use Windows XP, you can use this Guided Help.
Ok. for the other problems, I have email backup and address book backup.
I decided to use Firefox and Thunderbird to replace the IE and Outlook Express.
